How to achieve a "barely there” Ahmed valve
Webinar Description
Presenter: Shamira Perera
This video discusses our experience with practical modifications to the Ahmed Glaucoma Valve surgery, including the placement of a “barely there” sulcus tube via a 4mm scleral tunnel, intra-tenon’s injection of mitomycin C to minimise post-operative bleb fibrosis, and marking of the conjunctiva to facilitate precise anatomical closure.
