IOL Explantation and SFIOL and Ahmed Tube

Webinar Description

Presenter: Victor Koh

The patient has a subluxated intraocular lens with vitreous prolapse into the anterior chamber causing raised intraocular pressure. I prefer to pre-place the plate of the Ahmed Glaucoma Valve prior to scleral-fixation of a new intraocular lens. Removal of the old and insertion of a new intraocular lens can be performed via a small clear corneal wound.
