Two site trabeculotomy

A 360 degree trabeculotomy is considered to be superior to conventional 180 degree trabeculotomy in primary congenital glaucoma. Two site trabeculotomy is an economical alternative for a micro catheter 360 degree trabeculotomy. This video demonstrates the concept and steps of the procedure on a five day old neonatal onset primary congenital glaucoma. The key point is to perform trabeculotomy in superior nasal quadrant and also in inferior temporal quadrant. This yields in almost a 360 degree trabeculotomy with out additional cost of a micro catheter.
